Well normally RM 100 would be more than suffice.
But all and all it comes down to how good ur relationship is with the bride/groom.

When my bro married, i give 399.99 for long lasting family. (since giving 999.99 is too much.)
When my colleague married, i only give RM50, while friends is 100
Dun flame me.......or i burn u....
just kidding...

I just love this phrase.

miri standard rm50 per person. if invited spouse or family along, then rm100 at least.
of cos, these are the minimum standards.... anything less than that is not presentable

Thanks for the reply. One more question based on Chinese custom, it's consider rude to give 'even' amount for wedding dinner ang pow right?

Don't think so to my knowledge, many people
give in even amounts RM50, RM100 etc also.

To be safe though, give in amounts with
auspicious meanings to Chinese, like RM99,
RM138, RM168, RM68 and so on.

Basically the norm, numbers that end with
8 or 9 is good to the Chinese.

nah....numbers are for good luck, but doesn't represent rude (But don't go and try give RM44 or RM22...

4 in Chinese sounds like 死 (Death)

2 in Chinese sounds like 餓 (Hunger) That is not so good also....

Chinese loves the number 8 = 發 (Prosper)

Good idea if you give them 88.
