KUALA LUMPUR: Senheng is proud to be selected as one of the authorised agents for the ‘Youth Communication Package, RM200 Smartphone Rebates for Youths’.
‘Youth Communication Package’ is a project announced by our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as part of Budget 2013 tabled in September last year to encourage more youths especially those living in the rural areas to enjoy the nation’s broadband facilities.
It is targeted at youths as they are the main impact on influencing the economic and e-commerce growth of the country.
This programme was introduced by the government with the cooperation of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
This special rebate applies to youths aged between 21 to 30 years old with a monthly income of RM3,000 and below.
The government has allocated RM300 million for this project which will benefit 1.5 million youths.
Customers who have successfully registered themselves and been approved at the Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission portal (http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/
) may walk in to any Senheng and senQ outlets nationwide to enjoy the one-off rebate of RM200 on a 3G smartphone priced below RM500 each.
Customers who purchase the selected models which include the HTC Wildfire S, Samsung Galaxy Y and Sony Xperia Tipo can enjoy 500MB data, 100 minutes voice call and 30 SMS from U Mobile for FREE.
PlusOne members are also entitled to an extra 1-year FREE warranty and AEON Easy Payment Scheme for up to 6 months.
