wan to ask tat wat is the main causes of blue screen?currently runnin on vista 32bit ultimate sp1...and will diff brand of ram cause the blue screen o even ram overheating?

GeminiGeek wrote:usually first thing u should do is try to run chkdsk and repair any errors. if that doesnt solve the prob, try to disassemble all your hardware and reassemble it (hdd, proc, ram, gpu, etc). If it still BSOD, connect only power cord and the VGA cable and see if there's BSOD. Then reattach back, mouse, kb, speakers, printers, etc etc one by one and then you should know what causes the BSOD. If you try any of those and still happens, try repair your windows. If it still happens, try formating it, and after the clean install, re do the hardware troubleshooting again.
