In Malaysia, if u want to develop new houses, you have to deal with various government departments especially the big head, so, gonna give lots of kopi-o in order to get their approval.
Developers have to pass this cost to the end-buyer lah, so, buyers die lah.
Malaysia is way tooooooooo CORRUPTED.

anything is for business nowadays, make profits, especially for a house,land, we re just a buyer and have to survive in order to live in a comfortable house,
bigger size, bigger investment. to get salary 12k, have to wait 5 - 10 more years(maybe), but house cost keep increase

Sad to say our kids will not be able to buy even a room of a house in the future. There's too much demand for a house these days, that the prices just keeps on rising.. it's a classic supply & demand equilibrium over price. Once the demand decrease, the price will decrease... but do you think this will happen? i doubt it, unless people start getting some sense back.

And I would agree, a portable cabin converted home will be nice.. am doing it now in my farm.. cheaper! LoL

it is sad. look how this generation live. with their parents. fork out thousands of ringgit to give them good education. and then next stage is work. when working do savings. save for what? either plan buy house or. car as priority. then burden some more. few more years into their career. some with sh*tty company. salary increment so so. when gonna marry? lol. those who prioritise car means they have to stay with parents. etc etc etc. for most house is out of the equation.

nowadays difficult to sell if developer built basic house with just cement floor and gate that only single car can drive in.

House price in Miri more less same like price in west m'sia, but the salary here not same as west m'sia..... do u think how many of mirian here can get 12k/month? even you buy 380k house here the workmanship also poor,crack there crack here after few month......
