But you do understand that he is right, right? I mean, since when should a gov't charge it's people for getting a credit card? And how is it even right that they collect on a product offered by a bank?

Just because we live in this country doesn't mean we can't question or have an opinion on it's laws and rules. If the people don't question its gov't, the country will never evolve. And that is why we have elections, so that the people's voice can be heard.

errrr.....afaik, MyKad can easily fail to read (faulty smart chip on mykad).

yeah, the system is brilliant. but the product (MyKad), other story lor~.
