Vios (E) 2006 steering problem

Hi, can I ask y my vios steering feel heavy when turning the steering wheel? Is all E class steering feel heavy to turn? Any suggestion?

Tyre not enough pressure?

at first i also taught is tyre pressure but after i go petrol station pump the tyre already, the steering still feel heavy when turning the steering wheel. the power steering oil still full.

What PSI you use for tyre?

230 psi for all 4 tyre

I usually see people set air pump pressure at 29/30 psi. Not sure if that 230 psi that you mention is the same thing.

Power steering got oil?

It's call hydraulic fluid as the power steering system is a hydraulic pump sending pressurised fluid down the tubes/hose to the steering gearbox to move the linkages that turns the wheels. Incidentally the new Myvvi uses an electric motor instead of the hydraulic system for it's power assisted steering.

You could try jacking up the front end of your car so that both front wheels are off the ground and test the steering under no-load condition (of course with the engine running) to feel the difference.

230psi u tayar early burst d..lol..he's referring to 230kpa..
