11am to 12noon - demo on making bonsai by Halimunan
2pm - 4pm - another demo

All MC are welcome, halimunan is one the committee and exhibitor. Come learn how to grow yr own bonsai at home.

Dear Madam/Sir,

On behalf of Persatuan Bonsai Bandaraya Miri (Miri City Bonsai Association), we would greatly appreciate to announce this coming event.

“ The public are informed that Persatuan Bonsai Bandaraya Miri (Miri City Bonsai Association) will hold a BONSAI DEMONSTRATION & TALKS on every 2nd Sunday of each month at Bulatan Park’s Shaded Rostrum, Miri, Sarawak, from 1:30 PM – 5 PM.

Selected members of the Miri City Bonsai Association will give demonstration and talks on the basics, planting, training, development, pruning, wiring and other techniques in nurturing a bonsai plant. Our members will kindly share their knowledge and experience with the public.

By holding a regular activity of this kind, the Association intends to attract more people to participate and value Bonsai as a living art which reflect the uniqueness of natures’ beauty and are seen, admired and enjoyed by all people. This activity is open to the public with the intention of encouraging more people to take up this healthy hobby. It is hope more people will come to know the Association better. The public are encouraged to join and support the Association to further learn, share the knowledge & experience and to improve the skill of bonsai art.

To further promote the hobby of Bonsai, Miri City Bonsai Association will participate in the HARI LANDSKAP MAJLIS BANDARAYA MIRI 2008 at Bulatan Park by holding a Bonsai Exhibition together with Bonsai Demonstration & Talks from the 23rd – 25th May 2008. This event is organized by Miri City Council in conjunction with the Council’s theme of WARNA-WARNI BANDARAYA MIRI. ” All bonsai lovers and enthusiasts are welcome.
