only 1 thing, it's hard to focus and the focusing speed is slow at LOW LIGHT condition. Other then that I think that's a good lens

really?ayoh...this means it's not so good for wedding esp indoors w/o flash... what about sports photography in bright outdoor?u hv this lens?

for sports... still considered slow... faster a bit is sigma... but i dun like the peeling problem later... tokina is still slower than sigma i heard...

Well, the AF motor is quite slow compared to sigma. But I'd love the colour and the sharpness of the picture from this lens.

I've got a Tamron AF70-300mm F4-5.6 which i dont use much. wanna sell it off and buy nikkor instead. AF kinda slow and too noisy for me

i own a 17-50 and 90 tamron.. all damn slow focusing in low light X(

It depends on what you shoot. Tamron is famous for its sharpness, but its focusing speed is quite slow. If you're shooting sports or events, you might have missed a lot of great scenes. Wedding is okay, I suppose. (personally do not use 70-200 for wedding, it's just too long @.@)
