WHAT IF the conspirators knew that by using C4s to carry out the task the blame will be on Najib? WHat if they knew Najib's schedule?

Look, it's easy to lie and even more easier to believe it. Pick up a book on WW2 and WW1 conspiracies and look how misled people can be.

Cheers ~

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - Two Malaysian policemen were charged Wednesday with the murder of a Mongolian model in a high-profile case in which a top political analyst is also being investigated.

Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri and Constable Sirul Azhar Umar have been accused of murdering the Mongolian woman, Altantuya Shaariibuu, on the night of Oct. 19 and Oct. 20 in a forest area outside Kuala Lumpur, deputy public prosecutor Noorin Badaruddin told reporters.

She also said DNA tests have confirmed that the human remains found in a jungle clearing in the Bukit Rajah hill outside Kuala Lumpur was that of Shaariibuu. The local media has reported that the woman was shot twice and her body blown up with C4 explosives to hide the crime.

Noorin refused to speculate on the manner the murder was committed or what connection the two policemen had with the woman.

Noorin said the two policemen were charged in a sessions court, and will face the first hearing on Dec. 14 in High Court.

A third female police officer, who also was detained for questioning along with the two male officers was not charged. She was released on bail on Wednesday, said defense attorney Shaun Tan.

The case has gripped the nation and whipped up media frenzy because of the alleged involvement of a well-known political analyst, Abdul Razak Baginda, who was detained on Nov. 7 for questioning.

He is scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Thursday when he will either be charged, released or remanded to further custody.

The local media have reported that Abdul Razak, 46, and the 28-year-old Shaariibuu had an affair two years ago, which ended sometime earlier this year. Abdul Razak's lawyer says the two knew each other but denied a romantic link.

Shaariibuu came to Malaysia last month, apparently to meet Abdul Razak, who runs a think-tank and is known to be close to the ruling party as well as Malaysia's deputy prime minister.

It is not known why Shaariibuu came to meet Abdul Razak, who is married with a 19-year-old daughter. She was allegedly last seen alive outside his house.

The local press has reported that Shaariibuu was seen being bundled into a vehicle by policemen. The press has also suggested that Abdul Razak used his influence to secure help from the policemen to have the woman removed.

Noorin, the deputy public prosecutor, did not say if Abdul Razak will be charged in connection with the case.-AP

RPK, Ku Li and the Altantuya allegations

Postby Starliner » Wed May 06, 2009 7:58 am

KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah never expected this. Sometime ago, a military intelligence officer told him a story linking the Prime Minister’s wife with the murder of Mongolian model, Altantuya Shaariibuu.

The Kelantan prince had no way of knowing whether the story was factual or a yarn spun by someone with a fertile imagination. He filed it away in his cranium, forgot about it and went about his business. But now blogosphere is buzzing with the veteran Umno politician’s name right in the centre of an explosive posting by Raja Petra Kamarudin.

RPK, as the blogger is popularly known, posted on his blog yesterday an alleged transcript of an interrogation by Special Branch officers while he was detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) last year.

He claims in his blog that during the interrogation, he named the source of his allegations against Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor as Lt Kol Azmi Zainal Abidin, whom he also claims to be a military intelligence officer.

RPK, who went on the lam last month after failing to turn up in court for his sedition trial, further claims that he had checked with an aide of Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah on the information provided by Lt Kol Azmi.

An aide to Tengku Razaleigh confirmed to The Malaysian Insider today that the Kelantan prince had been told the same story by Lt Kol Azmi which allegedly links Datin Seri Rosmah and the murder of Altantuya, the Mongolian mistress of Abdul Razak Baginda, a close associate of the Prime Minister.

But he pointed out that “many people come and tell us stories.” In his blog, RPK goes on to allege that a man working for Tengku Razaleigh persuaded him to put down the allegations in a statutory declaration.

RPK also claimed in his blog post that a former minister had approached him in an effort to persuade him to stop making allegations Najib.

He claimed the former minister also offered him money, but he declined the offer. The Malaysian Insider were unsuccessful despite several attempts to reach the former minister on his mobile telephone.

RPK, through a separate post on his blog, claimed that he had decided to become a fugitive to avoid being detained and because of a family feud with the Sultan of Selangor over his views on the Perak constitutional crisis.

It is not clear if RPK and his wife are still in the country.

In his latest blog post, RPK has shown he is determined to be thorn in the side of Najib’s administration.

RPK was supposed to go on trial as he has been charged under section 4(1)(c) of the Sedition Act 1948 which carries a maximum fine of RM5,000 or three years' jail or both upon conviction.

He is accused of publishing the article “Let’s send the Altantuya murderers to hell” on his Malaysia Today website.

Razak Baginda gets doctorate from Oxford

Postby Starliner » Tue Jun 16, 2009 12:33 pm

Political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda, who was at the centre of a high-profile trial for abetment in the murder of a Mongolian woman until his acquittal late last year, has been awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy in International Relations by Oxford University, one of the world’s top universities.

Dr Abdul Razak, 49, told Bernama here today that he submitted his doctorate dissertation in September 2006 but the university put it on hold because of his arrest two months later in connection with the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.

“When I was acquitted and released from prison on Oct 31 last year, I wrote back to the university, they revived the whole process and early this year they told me that I had passed and been awarded the Doctorate of Philosophy (DPhil). At Oxford, the Doctorate is called DPhil and is equivalent to PhD in other universities,” said Dr Abdul Razak.

He said in October, he would take up an appointment as a senior associate member of St Anthony’s College at the university.

In this capacity, he will undertake research on international issues.

Dr Abdul Razak, who studied at Oxford’s Trinity College in preparation for his doctorate, said he hoped more Malaysians would strive to study at top universities.

“There have been very few Malaysians who made it to Oxford, fewer still who obtained DPhil and even fewer among them are Malays,” he said.

He also said he was in the midst of writing a book of his life with the focus on his 22 months under remand in the Sungai Buloh Prison during the trial.

Two policemen, Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 33, and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, 37, who were charged for the murder were found guilty and sentenced to death. Both have appealed against the conviction and sentence.

VSL, you should rephrase the question.. Who paid for his Oxford education?

And how racist his is remarks saying very few Malays are eligible for elite education? What about the other races from MALAYsia who are in Oxford, Yale, Havard etc.? Are they not good enough to be mentioned? Must be malay oso kah?

Typical west MALAYsian... "Cakap tidak serupa bikin"! pfft!
