yes, the topic says it all. this time it come with a bang!

finally for the very first time, MiriCommunity.net forum is planning to organise its first public annual gathering to its forum members.

this is not only going to be an ordinary dinner gathering but it is also going to be a one day event where the forumers will have tremendous fun ay and get to chill out. it is also the time for you to meet up, close and personal with the MiriCommunity.net administrators and moderators but of course also get to meet other forumers in person.

so peeps, keep the thread rolling. we are looking forward for your positive feedback. we are working very hard to make this happen and without your co-operation, it will not be possible.

please be informed that this event is extended to miricommunity.net forum members only. how ever, forum member who are married or dating is allowed to bring their spouse or partner. no children below 12 years old is allowed due to the nature of the event and safety issue.

to those who wish to confirm their participation, kindly follow the steps below;
1) bank in the ticket price to miricommunity bank account and details are as follow;

2) scan and email the bank in slip to 'hawaii@miricommunity.net' and should consist of following details;
- full name & nick name (please indicate with spouse or partner should there is any)

to 'booze' lovers out there, you may do the order from the cafe and will be charged accordingly. below are the prices for your reference which is under your own expenses;

ok guys...the moment of truth. here are the criteria for the award of recognitions in conjunction of the anniversary celebration;

Member of the Year
Criteria:
• Open to registered forum member only and nomination on Admin & Moderator is not allowed.
• Must be actively involved in the forum in terms of contributing resourceful & constructive information/opinions/standings/suggestions.

Best Inspiration of the Year
Criteria:
• a business that took a good turn by interacting with the people through the forums (e.g. Ipoh Town Kopitiam, Marina Bay, etc)
• an individual honestly doing charity work restlessly and using the forums to reach out (e.g. psim - reporting complaints to the authority, tsyen75 - promoting recycling collection, etc)
• a life-changing experience for an individual (e.g. mikitmc's neighbour problem, igetz's failed attempt to save the cats, etc)
note: i have to use some examples here for a clearer explaination and that doesnt mean the mentioned examples are the best choice/favourite. result will be purely based on votes.

Most Popular Blogger of the YearCriteria:
• Open to registered blogger under the Miri Blogger Digest column.
• Preferable active blogger and whom you think readers can benefit or been inspired from their blog post.

Best Community ProjectCriteria:
• sounds similar to the inspiration award but it's scope is more towards unique community projects such as the makanmaniacs.com, photography group exposing more of miri's hidden treasures, the car group, minum maniac etc.
• mainly about bringing people together in unity for one purpose
note: i have to use some examples here for a clearer explaination and that doesnt mean the mentioned examples are the best choice/favourite. result will be purely based on votes.

Best Moderator of the Year
Criteria:
• Open only to moderators.
• Must be actively involved in the forum in terms of contributing resourceful & constructive information/opinions/standings/suggestions.

Please be informed that upon finalisation of the nomination candidate, only top 5 will be short listed based on majority counts. Only when the top 5 is listed, the voting will begin.
