Fuzzy logic was first introduced in the United States of America but the Japanese are building product out of fuzzy logic rapidly. Ironically, the state where fuzzy logic emerge is still considering the possibility of it. The Europeans now are getting into it and really developing on fuzzy logic. There are many technology now that uses fuzzy logic mostly produced by the Japanese. Some fuzzy logic is in cameras, camcorders, air conditioners and washing machines. It is funny to hear; when asked about fuzzy logic, they would reply 'Washing machines?' Probably they never heard that fuzzy logic can control the stopping of a train much better than a human operator.

When mentioned about fuzzy logic, I merely meant fuzzy logic controller and fuzzy logic is the root of all the fuzz. Fuzzy logic discusses more about the mathematics while fuzzy controller is more about the application of fuzzy logic to control. The conventional control method that 90% machines and controller use now is a PID controller which stands for Proportional, Integrator and Derivative Controller. So, if PID is so commonly used and it is such a good controller, why use fuzzy? Perhaps this is why the American still vague about fuzzy logic.

Fuzzy logic controller could be viewed as a paradigm shifting because it change the view of a controller to a new perspective. With conventional method of for example the oh-so-good PID controller, the value are always calculated to form a control signal to the plant, for example the motor. As introduced by L.A. Zadeh, the human world do not need such precise values. As true for the fuzzy controller, it do not take the value significantly but transfer it to a fuzzy 'realm' before the control signal is produced.

Fuzzy logic controller can be viewed as a decision maker by a computer with human senses. Why it is called 'human senses?' When humans decide, they will always fall in a realm of two extremes. For example when driving a car, human will always adjust the throttle of the car according to his desired speed. Humans never use full throttle or no throttle. Fuzzy controller being different from a PID controller, human too do not know the exact value of pushing on the throttle to procude a certain speed, they just estimate the amount.

Fuzzy controller is much better in a sense they can estimate the value better. They would take in the value and make the decision by themselves based on the rule set by a real human. This is why fuzzy logic controller is called an artificial intelligence. They can make decision and the decision they made is based on calculation.

Take for example of stopping a train as mentioned above. A real human will estimate the amount of deceleration to be applied to the train and slowly braking the train. But human will have hard time in making the stop unless he is very experienced driver. For the fuzzy controller, it will measure the necessary input value (such and speed) and decide on the amount of deceleration to be put to the train. In other sense, fuzzy controller can be trained to be an expert human.

Well of course someone have to teach the fuzzy logic controller. Fuzzy logic controller is based on rules. Like the train stopping, some rules are like 'if the station is still far and the speed is high, then maintain speed', 'if the station is getting near and the speed is high, slow down speed', 'if the station is really near and speed is low, then slow down speed'. Based on these rules inputted in the fuzzy controller, it will calculate the necessary value of deceleration to the train.

The possibility from a fuzzy logic controller is wide the computation steps required needs the use of a computer or embedded system like microcontroller. Unlike PID controller, it can be build from few operational amplifiers, resistors and capacitors. Probably this is why no one wants to venture into fuzzy logic. The more input required, the more computational requirement is needed. This will takes a lot of space in data memory and program memory.

But why not venture into something new? The world now is revolving around AI especially fuzzy logic. At least the passengers in KTM commuter need not be jerked forward when the train stops.

Today is my 2nd day in Kuching, nevertheless this town is....somehow...same as Miri. some landmarks indeed makes me thought I'm in Miri. LOL. Theres something I wanna comment about Kuching in traffic, that is:

1. There are lots of Toyota Camry.
2. There are lots of BMW 3-Series.
3. Peoples in here loves BMW.

Well assume that the hotel has weak wi-fi signal my brother hooked up his phone to this laptop and used it as a 3G modem. It worked very well, but I used the whole night and I only used....30MB out of 500MB limit! LOL. I'm planning on hacking my sis's phone in here but I cant since I'm having issues with 64bit. Day after day it's all....messaging..haha. Going to Spring Valley later, I heard that it has lots of awesome PC Stuffs =). Talking about PC Stuffs, in-fact I finally saw Sapphire 5870, and hot damn its a loong card haha :D, saw 5770 also. Also saw a Q9550 (IT COST RM 1050 !%*&^*&^@), and finally, in my eyes, saw the Intel board that needs 2 QX9775 processors :D. Spotted Kingston HyperXs too. Didn't see ANY Alienware atm :/ LOL. LG Crystal, It's niiiceee but my grandpa dont like it, he said transparent keypad seems a lil bit weird, true~ haha. N97 Mini Raoul Edition, X6...

It's boring staying in Hotel, REALLY. Your dun have credit lagi...haha...(You know who you are)

Aku nadai ngelala orang, kelebih agi iya ka endang udah besai tuai, diberi apai indai sida sebuah kerita. Diberi dua buah kerita lebih agi aku nadai nemu orang baka nya!

Kami duai Doug endang beberkat endar laban bempuka apai indai/entua ka manah sereta murah ati. Taja kerita ka diberi saduai ukai kerita baru, tang enti kitai berunding, jarang kitai tetemu ka orang ti ka nyua ka kitai sebuah kerita! Tang entua aku ukai semina sebuah kerita ka diberi ngagai kami - dua buah. Uchu iya dua iku ka tuai sekali, ampit meh nerima sebuah siku kerita ari entua aku nya.

Nya meh, orang merkat kitai, tang sekeda nyamai amat enchuri utai ka diberi orang ngagai kitai.

Lemai kemari baka selama meh Doug sangkai ba alai iya ninggal kerita iya lebuh ka nurun kereja. Datai iya ba Park and Ride, nadai meda kerita iya dia agi. Pagi nya endang sengaja ga parking kerita iya ngimbai trak Goodwill ti endang dipark dia awak ka ulih nerima derma (gari, perabot, etc) ari orang mayuh. Ngicha ka selamat agi kerita iya dipark dia, kenu.

Denice saduai Kristen begambar ba mua kerita enggau trak Doug.

Kena churi orang meh kerita Doug nya demalam. Dulu agi ari nya, radio/dvd player dalam pick-up trak iya kena churi lebuh trak iya diparking ba endur nya tadi. Nasib ga trak iya nya enda alu ditaban penchuri.

Ukai semina kerita Doug aja udah kena churi ba tempat nya. Berapa buah enda kerita orang udah kena churi dia. Kerita orang jauh manah sereta baru agi ari enggi Doug. Meda kerita iya udah lama, nadai lah ngumbai orang ka enchuri laban mayuh kerita bukai ka manah agi parking dia mega.

Nya meh ngasuh aku pedis ati ngenang pengawa mensia. Nyamai nyamai ngambi utai orang!

Tuhan mencipta siang dan malam dan mengisi masa tersebut dengan aktiviti yang sesuai dengannya. Siang adalah masa untuk manusia bekerja mencari rezeki mulai dari matahari terbit dan berakhir dengan matahari terbenam. Malam pula adalah masa untuk beribadat dan berehat sebelum meneruskan aktiviti untuk hari esoknya. Siang juga merupakan masa bagi sesetengah haiwan tidur untuk berjaga sebelah malamnya dan begitulah Allah mengaturkan masa untuk keselesaan makhluknya.

Tetapi dalam keadaan terdesak manusia semakin tidak mengikuti lagi peraturan masa ini dan bagi sebahagian mereka malam dan siang bukanlah penghalang untuk meneruskan aktiviti. Zaman sekarang semakin ramai manusia sudah mula mencari rezeki sebelah malam dan berehat sebalah siang pula. Walaupun ianya berubah dari lumrah alam ciptaan Allah, tetapi ia tidak ditolak oleh masyarakat.

Jika mulai tahun 70an dulu, peniaga-peniaga mencari rezeki tambahan melalui perniagaan di pasar malam, bermula dari lewat petang hingga tengah malam. Semasa berlaku kegawatan ekonomi di akhir tahun 80an, ramai juga mereka yang bekerja pada waktu siang atau kehilangan pekerjaan mula melakukan perniagaan yang dinamakan Car Boot Sales pada sebelah malam. Sekarang aktiviti perniagaan waktu malam semakin dilanjutkan hinggalah lewat pagi antara jam 3.00 hingga 4.00 pagi. Jika dulu kita kenali sebagai pasar malam, kini namanya lebih canggih dengan menamakannya Uptown.

Tidak dapat dipastikan sama ada Uptown di Malaysia ini bermula di Kuala Lumpur tetapi ia sudah semakin popular dan mula diujudkan di merata tempat. Dengan ujudnya Uptown memberikan peluang kepada mereka yang bekerja di siang hari khususnya pekerja pejabat, peluang untuk membeli belah selepas waktu kerja walaupun pilihannya tidak seperti membeli-belah waktu siang. Tetapi memadailah untuk membeli barang-barang keperluan yang bukan keutamaan. Di Kuala Lumpur terdapat tiga kawasan perniagaan tengah malam ini iaitu di Downtown Danau Kota, Setapak, Downtown KL di Cheras dan Uptown di Kota Damansara.

Downtown ini mengambil konsep pusat perniagaan industri kecil dan sederhana dam juga konsep pasar malam dan mendapat sambutan hangat dari orang ramai khususnya pada hari Jumaat dan Sabtu. Ia diusahakan oleh Persatuan Pengasih Malaysia.

Saya telah mengunjungi Downtown Kuala Lumpur di Cheras kerana lebih dekat dengan tempat saya tinggal. Ia terletak di Cheras iaitu di kawasan letak kereta Velodrom Kuala Lumpur dan beroperasi dari hari Selasa hingga Ahad mulai jam 10.00 malam hinggalah 5.00 pagi. Lihat peta lokasi Downtown ini.

KL Downtown menawarkan pelbagai barangan dan aksesori harian seperti pakaian lelaki, wanita dan kanak-kanak, kasut, barangan kulit, aksesori telefon bimbit, beg, barangan elektronik, aksesori kenderaan, aksesori penampilan diri, hiasaan rumah, permainan kanak-kanak dan sebagainya. Di samping itu bagi wanita yang ingin mendapatkan hiasan inai atau henna, juga boleh didapati di KL Downtown.

Di dalam kawasan ini juga terdapat pentas dan pihak penganjur merancang pertunjukkan-pertunjukkan dari semasa ke semasa sebagai daya tarikan kepada pengunjung. Di samping itu jika anda ingin menunjukkan bakat untuk menyanyi boleh juga mencuba berkaraoke di khalayak dengan bayaran yang minima.

In dictionary term it means to produce tears as the result of a strong emotion, such as unhappiness or pain. Sigh. Who never cry? For the first breathe we reached at the doctor hand we had already had our first cried. The grace and happiness that our mother feels warm inside her heart while looking at your red little tiny body that the nurse were holding and come near to your side and you kissed your baby.

For today blog, I feel like crying is nothing wrong neither a joke! When a person cry because either they are sad or joy. The most famous and popular reasons that causes a person to cry is heart broken. Every relationships, we fought and prays hoping it can stay forever and good, so called the happily ever after. But how many percentage would a relationship blossom if the couple doesn't mean for each others? Fate is always twisting around with us

Some might blame, why am I being so unlucky every time? Why I failed again and again?

If the relationship belongs to you it will forever yours. Don't force a person to stay. Don't beg a person to stay. Do Love a person happily. I know a lots of us experienced from severe break-up ~ can't sleep, having eating disorder and making our self hangover everyday. This sucks! I met a lots of jerks too, so what? why don't we thanks them by telling us early that "oh, that is your true colors thanks for letting me know earlier rather than 5years later. Thanks for no thanks"

I believe some guys also met some bitches that are cruel. Spent all your hard earn cash, you buy whatever they want but in the end either she did something behind you or even worst behind your back with girls (lesbo) Ya, I know it hurts! When our Darling did something hurt to us. But what can we do? They choose it. They want it. They decided to hurt you and fool around. I know it is a very sad that we can't do anything but just to let go or revenge.

When was your last cried? Do you aware that tears were actually warm? I know a friend she has been cry to sleep almost every night. Every time she closed her eyes, she will have a video playing inside her mind and slowly, her tears were just come out from the side of her eyes. It just happened.

But for me, just cry out loud that is the only way but of course some people will disagree with me because different people have different style in healing the heart-broken. Made a good decision in your own life and you won't regret it.

We don't have to do something and prove to others, "I can do it" :)

MIRI: The Roman Catholic Bishop of Miri the Right Reverend Anthony Lee received a surprise anniversary celebration as the bishop of Miri for 32 years during a break of the 16th Human Life International Asia Pacific Congress on Faith, Life & Family.

“This is the biggest anniversary celebration I ever had,” said Lee before more than 600 participants from 17 countries taking part in the congress organised by the Human Life Services Centre.

“And the smallest cake, ” he said in jest making the participants broke out in laughter.

“Not only is the cake the smallest but it's chocolate and I hate chocolate, but I must still swallow this bitter pill which is symbolic,” he added.

Not only much revered but much loved by the catholics in the Miri diocese, Lee was instrumental in promoting the pro-life movement in Miri with the setting up of the Human Life Services Centre.

He travelled even to the rural areas spreading the message of the gospel of life as he began to see in his struggle as an pro-life activist the evil of the culture of death spread through the promotion of abortion and contraception. ENDS.

MIRI: Five rural natives travelling by air from Long Banga were unceremoniously dumped at Marudi on their way to Miri recently.

Stranded at Marudi airport they happened to meet lawyer Robert Ayu who coincidentally was waiting for his flight to Miri. They approached Ayu and requested that their plight be highlighted in the media.

According to Ayu, the five stranded passengers were on board Maswing MH3591 together with nine other passengers from Long Banga to Miri at 11:20 am transit Marudi.

“They had paid the full fare of RM88 to Miri in Long Banga but on arrival at Marudi they were arbitrarily off-loaded to give way for passengers from Marudi to Miri,” said Robert.

They were asked to wait for the last flight on waiting list. There was no valid reason given by the agent at Marudi airport except to say system breakdown.

What annoyed the passengers was that the agent refused their request to be put on board the flight despite the fact that they told they had urgent matters to attend in Miri.

One passenger, Jessy Keling who received the news of the death of her uncle in Miri through the radio flew down from Long Banga, told the agent she had to be in Miri that day for her relatives were waiting for her arrival in order to proceed with the burial of her uncle.

In spite of this explanation, the agent refused to put her on the flight.

“My relatives had to put off the burial to the next day to wait for my arrival if I can get a flight the next day,” she lamented in tears to Robert.

Another passenger Lucia Lerang was catching a connecting flight to Kuala Lumpur at 6pm that day was questioning, why pick on us, is it because we are poor? Why not ask the Marudi passengers to wait for the last flight instead of us?

Susan Udau, another passenger pointed out that they should be put on the next available flight instead of the last flight because they don't have relatives in Marudi. What if there is no seat available on the last flight, where will we stay for the night in Marudi?

According to Robert, this act of off-loading rural passengers in Marudi to give way for passengers in Marudi had been going for quite a while because it is not computerised at the departure point in the rural area like in Long Banga. ENDS.
