WHPH today!!! Expedition!!! YEAY!!

Today is a WHPH day, and that means in the afternoon we usually have some activity that is outside the office. For today our department will be going to Tusan ( I have no idea where that is, except for the fact that it is in Miri...hahaha...stayed here all my life but still have no clue of where certain place are...haha...sad lah :P) This is the email that I receive yesterday from my colleague regarding our activity for today:

All ready for some sun and sand? (YES!!!)

The GeoTour will go ahead as plan, tomorrow afternoon. (YEAY!!!!)

We have also identified alternate route in the event the beach is not accessible so it's all go for tomorrw's WHPH.
(YEAY!! YEAY!!! cause that means that even if it is high tide we still get to go there!!!)

We will continue to monitor weather & beach conditions for next 24-hrs.
(So far the weather looks pretty good!!! Nice and Cloudy....but you know how Miri weather is these days, one moment nice and sunny, the next moment a full on Thunderstorm!!!)

Be aware of the time of departure. Prompt departure will enable prompt departure from beach before nightfall & rising tides.
(Wow!!! I better get there on time. Does this means that we just leave those who comes late behind???)

Info pack for what you need to bring, do and see is attached below:
(Wah! we even have an info pack on what to bring!!!...so cool!!!)

When to Meet :
Date: Friday, 16th May

(That's today!! YEAY!!!)
Time: 1300 - 1700hrs
(That's in about an hours time!!!)

Where To Meet :
Meeting Point: Taman Selera Tj. Lubang carpark (public park immediately SW of Marriot Hotel) at 13:00 hr, depart at about 13:15hr (I definitely know where this place is...trying having dinner at Stall No.7, my friends stall, her name is Rita....very yummy the food!!! Hahaha...sempat promote lagik tu!)

How to Get there: - Drive to Mariott Hotel (I guess the Orang Putih's are more familiar with Marriot)
- Drive southerly past Mariott, you'll meet a round-a-bout (Is there such a word as Southerly??? Hahaha..I know I make up words as well...but its nice to know whether this word really does exist or not :P)
- Go around round-about, take the 12 o' clock (due South) road (Wow! when you tell me a direction using the numbers on the clock, I seriously get confuse...sure sesat wan. Lucky for me I know where Taman Selera is...hahaha)
- past round-a-bout, there is a garden and playground on your RIGHT (you don't say! :)).

See MAP below - contact me if you require further assistance in getting there. I will be in office on Friday morning. (Sorry I didn't get to post the map...haha...didn't think it was necessary unless you are really interested to see it??? Oklah, I put it up, you all wait ah...)

What Will We Be Doing at Tmn Selera:
- we will car pool into 4 4WD cars for the drive (Great! I don't have to drive my ever so small kelisa and get stuck in the sand somewhere...but than again, even if it does get stuck, I'm positive its easy to get it out as well...Kelisa light what! :P)
- info-pack will be distributed for each car (Another Infor Pack!!! This is interesting!!!)
- we will depart for Tusan in an envoy (Yeay!!! we get to play with the emergency light so people would know we are in a group!!!)

What to Expect:
- deserted beaches & spectacular seacliffs (Ooooo...deserted beaches!!! harap no hantu!!! Day time usually don't have eh???. Spectacular seacliffs??? I hope so...will take pictures later)
- Miocene marine fossils (gastropods, bivalves, crabs, shark & fish tooth/bone) (WAH! I hope I do see some...will take picture also!!!)
- shallow marine to near shore sedimentology (I don't know what that means!!! :P, Will ask later)

What to bring:

Personal HSE
- Attire (Hmmmm.....takkan we go naked???)
- Light clothes (Do I need to weight my clothes first???)
- Cap/Fisherman's hat (Ahhh...I might have something like that....will take picture and show you how I look in it :P)
- Shoes
- Sports shoes (for walking) &/or sandals (for wading in water) (Wah! like this have to bring bag pack already!!!...haahha)
- Plastic bags
- bags to keep your fossil loot & damp clothes (huh? damn clothes??? Where to change in a deserted beach???)

- PPE
- Sun-bloc (I have that!!!)
- Towels (Seriously lah, need a bag pack like this!!!!)

- Mobile
- Moderate-to-poor reception for mobile esp. towards Beraya beach (Oh no! How can I live without my phone????)
- Camera (A must!)

What will be provided:

Vehicular HSE
Communication
- Walkie-Talkie (Ahhh...something to annoy people with!!!)

HSE Toolkit
- Spade (Cool! Digging is fun!)
- Towing ropes (Oh no! Sounds like we might get stuck somewhere...I hope not...well better be prepared than not!!!...right???)

-First Aid Box (MUST HAVE!!!)
- 1

-First Aid pack (Not same as First Aid Box kah???)
- 2

-Fire
Extinguisher (MUST HAVE ALSO!)

- Drinks
- mineral Water (Yes!!! Free Mineral water is always good!!!)
- 100 Plus (Yes!!! more energy to continue walking and digging!!!)

-Map (You mean, we might get lost? I thought we have experienced people bringing us there??? hmmm....if you don't see any blog from me in two days...call the police, I might be lost!!! ahhh...so scary...but still going anyway :P)

-Guided Walk (I hope so!!!)

The playing field has now being leveled. YB Karpal Singh was investigated by the authority on reports of menghina DYMM Sultan Perak.

PKR and DAP also filed a police report that YAB PM also did the same to the KDYMM Yang di-Pertuan Agong. I dit not see any report about it in the MSM or maybe I overlooked.

Attended the Award and Scholarship ceremony last Saturday.

Guess what I was awarded???

The souvenir and the cert. CHIO leh?? I think its damn chio lo...

The souvenir is a book about 'The Rainforest World Music Festival in Sarawak'.

It is not just any ordinary book. Its a book with lots and lots of pweety pictures and very little words. I like... ! Coz I hate reading... unless it teaches me how to make the awesomest cakes or how to make cute babies... ahahahah

Hehe..me boring after my dinner at Gasoline !!

Its thursday and its been the day I had been waiting for so so so long! I am on my way to the LCC-T terminal...yUhOO~ Been doing nothing the whole way, so been capturing some picture.

This is what I saw when I was out from Kl sentral station and make my way to the highway!

I do not know whats this just feel it is kind of attractive and its like collesuem~ =.=

Found something interesting today, belongs to da chief i think.

Guess what? It's men talk candy =.=

Without asking permission, i ate one of it! Of cos, i pressed the package and confirmed it's really a candy first before opening. Haha, manatao it's a new style packaging for erm i dont know what erm hahaha..

It tastes ginseng-ny, tongkat ali-ny and coffee-ny. TONGKAT ALI - That's why it's named men talk gua. lol.

Hope i dont grow a beard or erm a gugu just because ate one out of curiosity T___T

WENT OUT FOR DINNER WITH US!!!!!! Btw, her birthday was almost 2 months ago!!!! Actually that time I wasn't really close to Jo also la, don't know why I was at her birthday party hahahaha like a passerby suddenly butt in only :((

Her birthday was at ITALIANIES!!!!!!!! The food was seriously damn good! So good that I forgot to take photos of them because I was too busy scooping pasta onto my plate. (OMG I MAKE MYSELF SOUND LIKE A GLUTTON!! like daniel) But the food was seriously really mouthwatering and satisfying I don't know why TGIF still exists since it's totally overrated. The ambience was pretty good also la. The lights were dimmed so even if got lalat land on the food also cannot see just eat only la wth.

Anyway, right now I'm supposed to be doing something productive but although blogging can be productive sometimes, it's not exactly my definition of being productive at the moment. So I shall just spice up your life with SIZZLING HOT PHOTOS wth. (Actually I can't remember much of what we did la except that I found my camwhoring partner EVONNE that night!!)

A terrible Start for thIs Week.

I have already having bad days since last month and I had never thought that it will go even worse on the 12th of May 2008. It was a busy day in office and I knock off like usual. My brother is fetching me and then we head to fetch mum from work as well. During the trip way home, mum suggest to have dinner at Taman Selera. We all agreed.

6.30pm, we all depart from home with empty stomach to Taman Selera. We are using the Luak Bay road and it was red light so we stopped. In front of us is an oldish Honda with an uncle driver. Suddenly we heard a sound of a car breaking so hard to stop and BANG!.. our car was being moved to the front like earthquake while me.. fly over to the dashboard.

Yes. Indeed . We got into an accident. My brother walk down the car with big anger and scold the driver kao kao.. It was a young kid with a dumb face I may say. All he said was " I pay. I Pay" =_=" I was in shocked and my whole body weakened but still manage to get down the car and see wat happened. My my..the whole bonnet crack inside and so do the front bonnet.

It was a Ninja King car hit us from behind. That kid said he didnt notice it was red light and then his so called security guard which is actually a 3rd level gangster driving a Viva which totally look silly come and try to make the situation better but somehow just make it worse because he doesnt even know how to talk. LOL well my brother was hot tempered and he keep scolding the kid which is the part I totally admired.

After all the scolding and argueing scene and all the car tower guys came and trying their best to make business....... the Kid mum arrive.... my my....guess whose here? an anty driving a mercedes with a very familliar car plate number.... woooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo

I wouldnt want to mention the name so obvious here but she is the wife of a rich man in Miri .. well im not sure how much his asset is but he own a company just opposite my company only... He has 3 children, 2 daughter and a son which is the youngest and somemore what people said out there is he is sick. My sick means "sakit". No cure for the disease he has. No wonder his face turn pale when my brother scolded him xD

After the police arrived, his mum admit to the police that she is the one driving the Ninja King and hit us not his son fault. Well, indeed that Kid is a mummy boy. So nice indeed... I hit a car... Mummy and Daddy will cover for me.. Yayyy tomorrow I should go hit an kancil instead and see how kemek it can goes...... speechless parents indeed. That kid probably has no license..he look so young and the Ninja king he drove has no "P" sticker at all..
Not to mention when we asked the rich mum to give us her number and IC, she refused... she afraid we might be able to know where she lived I guess.. but come on..how huge is Miri anyway? With ur car plate number , we already tracked out what is ur status in just few hours. Dumb mother just as dumb as the son.

Till now, the workshop that this rich mummy intro to us havent even start to fix our car as everything will be claim from the Insurance. That workshop is kinda fishy as well.

Will have more updates to this matter next week as this saturday, the 2nd step will be taken.

He just looked so wild to dunk it in! No wonder the commentator said "he was with no regard of human life!" LOL!

NBA playoffs are just the game where amazing happens! Haha...
